Syamasundara Das, M.A.(Fine Arts)

The Architect & Managing Director of GOLOKA DHAM Project is a Fine Arts graduate from J.J. School of Arts, Bombay, 1972 - 1977, and an initiated devotee of Hare Krishna Movement since early 1977.

 Born in South India

 Won prizes & awards at State & International levels

 Executed several murals (bronze, wood, ceramic & clay) on Vedic themes in India & abroad

 Joined ISKCON and met Srila Prabhupada in March/April 1977, in Bombay, who instructed him to spread Sanatana Dharma (Krishna Consciousness) through Art

 Established VEDIC ARTS as a Full fledged Publishing House of Children’s Books (visit: www.vedicarts.net )

 Served as Art Director of BBT (Bhaktivendanta Book Trust) Bombay, 1977 - 78

 Traveled twice through the major Continents of the world

 Held Art Studios in Texas & Oklahoma, USA, for several years

 Executed Diorama sculptures for ISKCON’s Padayatra in India

 Designed & built several Vedic Fountains and Environmental Sculptures for ISKCON & Hinduja’s National Hospital, Bombay

 Designed Temples & Produced several Bronze Deities of Worship for ISKCON

 Executed architectural designs for international projects of Srila Prabhupada’s Monumental Samidhis at Vrindavan (UP) & Mayapur (W.Bengal)

 Undertaken Research program (for 5 years) on Natural Farming & Economics of Rural Development while doing intense practical study on Vedic Culture of Varnasrama

 Now fully dedicated for the development of “GOLOKA DHAM” a community of devotees
